Terms and Conditions for TODO

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the TODO mobile application (the "Service") operated by Three Fox Studio ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Service strictly in accordance with these Terms. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial productivity use.

2. User Content and Data

  • Ownership: You retain all rights to the tasks, notes, and data you enter into the App ("User Content").
  • Storage: You acknowledge that all User Content is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you create and for maintaining backups of your data. We are not responsible for any loss of data caused by device failure, app uninstallation, or accidental deletion.

3. Security

The Service uses encryption (SQLCipher) to help protect your data on-device. However, the security of your data also depends on the security of your mobile device (e.g., screen locks, biometrics). You agree that we are not liable for unauthorized access to your data resulting from a compromised device.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of the App.
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Three Fox Studio and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright and other laws.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Three Fox Studio, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
  • Any loss of data or content within the App.
  • Unauthorized access to your device.

8. "AS IS" Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
